We got TV tonight! Stat We got TV tonight!

The Clippers are in town and the two teams will face each other for the second time this preseason tonight. Fortunately for you Stiffs, tonight’s game will be broadcast on TNT at 8:00 p.m. (MT). This is the last Nuggets preseason game at the Pepsi Center – hooray the regular season is near!

Chauncey Billups will sit out tonight. Chris Paul will play, according to Clippers Steve, and we’ll get another look at one of the up-and-coming guards in this league: Eric Bledsoe. He’s a guy that George Karl has taken notice of and he mentioned him a couple times recently when talking about the Western Conference. Blessed with size and speed, Bledsoe creates many problems for his opposition. He can defend and had a nice duel with Ty Lawson out in Las Vegas. Lawson put up 8 points, 6 assists, and 2 steals to Bledsoe’s 25 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. Game on.

What to watch for tonight:

-The pick-and-roll defense of the Nuggets. Andre Iguodala indicated on his Google+ Hangout session that teams like to put him through a bunch of pick-and-rolls to keep him from being able to attack on defense. Iguodala also said the Nuggets big men have been doing a much better job of defending the pick-and-roll this past week in practice. The Clippers, thrive, like to run the pick-and-roll so Denver should get plenty of practice on defense tonight.

-Shooters. Jordan Hamilton didn’t play against the Thunder, will he get a shot tonight? Karl has indicated that he’s running his rotations against the Thunder and Clippers as more of a regular season style. While this doesn’t mean these rotations will be his regular season rotations, he is expanding minutes to give guys actual game minutes.

-Lawson, Danilo Gallinari, and Iguodala. This trio will be counted on to do the bulk of the scoring and play making for the Nuggets this season. They will initiate the offense and how they go, the Nuggets will go. Lawson and Gallo both played well against the Thunder, can they have repeat performances?

-Big men. Will the Nuggets work the post tonight? The offense isn't one that gives the bigs many chances, so will they make the most of the opportunities they get down low?

-Faried's shooting. After practice on Wednesday, Faried was working with Chad Iske on his jump shots. How many chances will he have to shoot it tonight? Will he fire away?
