Emmanuel Mudiay, Gary Harris and Darrell Arthur have been out most of preseason collectively. Arthur and Harris have been out for all but one game. Today after Denver Nuggets practice at Pepsi Center, head coach Michael Malone addressed the status of all three injured players.
The "hope" is that all three will be ready for the start of the season but it's just a hope at this point. We have nothing to indicate anything concrete and Malone talks about that issue in the video above. What will be interesting, more than the guard rotation, is how Arthur's return will affect Kenneth Faried. When Arthur is is the Nuggets defense improves by quite a bit, and they haven't been able to see that since they began preseason. How Malone adjusts once Arthur comes back will be very interesting.
