If you ask any professional athlete what the hardest part about being injured is, I’m sure the majority of them would say it’s the simple fact of not getting to play the sport they love. This definitely seems to be the case with Wilson Chandler, who is forced to miss the entire 2015-16 season after suffering a hip injury in preseason that required surgery. He was vocal with his excitement for the upcoming season prior to the injury, so it’s no surprise that he’s already itching to get back onto the court.
I just want to hoop.

It's five words, but they encompass Chandler's passion for basketball so perfectly. It must be tough to play a sport throughout most of your life, and then be forced to stop playing for a whole year. And as a fan, it's hard not to wonder what the record of the team would be right now with Chandler healthy and active, but at least we have next season to see how much he improves the squad. Until then, let's all wish him a speedy recovery so he can hoop again as soon as possible.
