Denver going for win number 40

Records:
Indiana 25-36 (18-11 at home)
Denver 39-20 (17-13 on the road)

I'm still riding that Birdman high from Friday night. One more link to the Bird is the Word dance, but a fresh one for you.

After coming off such a big win we get to see how the Nuggets will respond this evening against a lesser team. The Pacers are very dangerous and high scoring, but will be without their star forward Danny Granger tonight (foot).

The last time these teams played back on January 5th in Denver Granger led the Pacers with 36 points. Denver won the game 135-115 and shot a remarkable 58.1%. Melo, KMart, and Billups each scored over 20 points, 21, 25, and 24 respectively. Safe to say there wasn't a lot of defense being played by either team.

The Nuggets showed us their potential against the Lakers and I want to see them respond in the right way.

And let's not forget that Jeff Foster broke Carmelo's hand for him in the previous game.

Pregame Notes:

  • In their first game Denver and Indiana shot 20-48 from distance, each team going 10-24
  • The Nuggets recorded 38 assists against the Pacers, they average just 21.45 per game
  • This game features the #4 (Pacers) and #5 (Nuggets) scoring teams in the NBA

Opposition: Indy Cornrows
