In an interview with ESPN radio, Nuggets coach George Karl said that the Knicks will struggle to make it out of the first round of the playoffs. Saying in-part that the Knicks lack of practice time due to the condensed season and the emergence of Jeremy Lin will be difficult. Also, they most likely won’t finish out of the bottom half of the draw.
Context is important here, and the full interview would need to be heard to see if this was an honest critique or a thinly veiled shot at Carmelo Anthony. At this point I think George should be given benefit of the doubt until the full interview is heard.
