Denver Nuggets: Not only have our Nuggets lost four out of their last six games, but they’ve done so in blowout fashion. And here we thought the Nuggets might actually be better on the road than they are at home!
Nene Hilario: After signing a lucrative off-season contract to remain a Nugget, Nene turned in a half-hearted effort and got himself traded to the lowly Wizards … where he has already taken a night off from playing.
Carmelo Anthony: Since coming back from an injury, Melo has shot over 50% just three times and hasn’t cracked 20 points in a game in his last seven outings. Oh, and the Knicks have won just eight times in those 17 games with Melo back in the lineup.
Danilo Gallinari’s health: Having broken his thumb and severely sprained his ankle in the same shortened season – a season removed from incurring other injuries – Gallo is starting to look like one of those players who just can’t stay healthy.
Mike Brown: The Lakers‘ head coach – aka Dr. Bunsen Honeydew – benched Kobe Bryant in last night’s loss to the Grizzlies. Shockingly, Kobe wasn’t happy about it.
