Having had the privilege of traveling to Africa with Denver Nuggets vice president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri to see the man in action on his home continent, it was a great thrill to see Ujiri featured this weekend on one of my favorite TV programs: CNN’s “African Voices.”
Those who have followed Ujiri's career closely know that he is the only African-born general manager of a professional sports teams in the United States … that's pretty amazing. But even if you've followed Ujiri closely, you may not be aware of the impact he is having back in Nigeria and across Africa.
