The Nuggets roster will need to be cut down once training camp is over. One player that no longer figures into a roster spot is Unrestricted Free Agent Ian Clark, who signed with the Golden State Warriors today, according to Shams Charania of Real GM. Clark was in line to be a Restricted Free Agent, but the Nuggets did not extend his qualifying offer this summer; allowing him to sign with any team he chose.
Free agent Ian Clark has agreed to sign with the Golden State Warriors, finalizing terms, league sources tell RealGM. Former Utah/DEN guard.

Clark joined the Nuggets on March 28th, 2015 after being claimed off waivers from the Utah Jazz. Appearing in just seven games for the Nuggets, Clark averaged just 4.4 minutes and 1.9 points per game. At just 24 years-old, Clark still has plenty of time to carve out a niche on an NBA team, and the Warriors provide a great culture for him to continue his young career.
One of Denver's sharpshooters in Las Vegas this summer, Clark still had an uphill battle for a Nuggets roster spot. Emmanuel Mudiay and Jameer Nelson will be logging the bulk of the point guard minutes, with the team needing to decide on Erick Green's non-guaranteed deal before August 1st. The Nuggets also have a plethora of shooting guards in Randy Foye, Will Barton, Gary Harris, and Nick Johnson all with guaranteed contracts for the 2015-16 season.
While the Nuggets sort out their roster, Clark will be joining the NBA champion Warriors at training camp.
