In his first media day appearance as a Denver Nugget, power forward Paul Millsap set his expectations for his new team: compete for a championship.
“I want to have a deep playoff run and hopefully the chance to get to the championship game,” Millsap told reporters on Monday. "I feel like with the guys we have, whether that's now or in due time, we have what it takes to do it."
Millsap is no stranger to the playoffs, having made the postseason nine times already throughout his career in Utah and Atlanta. Let’s hope his presence will help bolster the Nuggets into a new era of postseason success.
