Oh … Hi there…. Nate Timmons and myself were again coming to you from Jakes Food and Spirits on 3800 Walnut St in Denver to talk all NBA on this fine, fine podcast.
We start off with a heart felt message to our missing compatriot Ross Martin, wishing him the best on baby-watch 2014. We miss ya buddy! From there we dive right into the news of the day and discuss Mark Jackson’s firing from the Golden State Warriors and what that means for coaching vacancies throughout the league. We also talk about Brian Shaw and what this could mean for him, particularly if Larry Bird fires Frank Vogel (if the Pacers lose in the second round).
We also get into the Nuggets draft and talk about how difficult it is to play any sort of pick prognostication when it comes to the Nuggets UNTIL after the Draft Lottery (which will be watched at a Denver Stiffs viewing party at Jakes on May 20th). We also talk about the “veteran leader” the Nuggets need and throw out a couple names that we believe can fit the bill.
As always, enjoy the show!
