It kind of sounds like the Denver Nuggets are trying to move Mudiay. According to the New York Post’s Marc Berman, the Nuggets have called “teams,” as in plural, regarding Emmanuel Mudiay.
Mudiay was sent to the bench early in 2017 and didn’t get much playing time over the last few months of the season. He was the 7th pick in the 2015 NBA draft and one of the main pieces of Denver’s rebuild. However, with Jamal Murray looking like a better prospect thus far, the Nuggets might be willing to move on from him entirely if they can get another asset or player that fits a larger need on the roster.
For now, it’s just a rumor. But Mudiay’s name seems to keep popping up in rumors so there is a decent chance that where there is smoke, there’s fire.
