According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the New York Knicks are trying yet again to interest the Nuggets in a certain trade package.
Hearing that Knicks are trying again to re-engage Denver and sell Nuggets on idea of trade built around Shumpert-for-Faried before deadline

For those that don't remember, the Nuggets shot down a similar rumor in November of this last year for the very same package. Read Stein's full write up of what he implied in his tweet right here
I am highly dubious of such things. As with anything you have to pay attention to the wording, and from what this sounds like the Knicks are just on a media centric fishing expedition to see if the Nuggets are interested. You never know what goes down behind closed doors, but I would be skeptical of this sort of thing. It seems that both David Aldridge (here) and (surprise!) Zach Lowe (here) have both brought up Faried's name in potential trade talk.
A rumor is a rumor is a rumor. The beauty of the trade deadline is you get alot of smoke but very little fire sometimes. The deadline is Thursday, February 20th and it will be interesting to see where the Nuggets go from here.
From this person's perspective … the Knicks are just doing alot of hoping and wishing without much hope of reciprocation.
