Be honest, you didn’t have the Denver Nuggets taking Syracuse’s Tyler Lydon in the 2017 NBA Draft. Well, neither did we. Lydon’s surprise selection coupled with the Nuggets having very few minutes for rookie power forwards has limited what the fans have seen of the 21 year old power forward.
Last night after the game was all but determined Lydon got some time on the court and boy did he make the most of it. In a mere thrity seconds he swatted a Dakari Johnson layup attempt, ran down the floor, buried a spot up three and then came back down to the defensive end to deny Josh Huestis of a dunk. Truly a great sequence, check it out below, courtesy of the Denver Nuggets social media team.
