Many of our readers have been asking – make that demanding – a 10th Stiffs Night Out for this first round playoff series. Due to overconfidence and cockiness (and me being out of town for Game 3), we had originally decided to hold off until Round 2.

Big mistake.

But now the Stiffs Karma could be exactly what the Nuggets need if they’re to deliver a Game 7 opportunity in Denver this Saturday. That all starts, of course, with the Nuggets winning Game 6 at Oakland on Thursday.

Thus, there WILL BE A STIFFS NIGHT OUT for Game 6 Thursday (8:30pm MDT tipoff). As usual, our host location will be Jake's Food & Spirits and Jake's will be serving up $1 street tacos and $2 bartender's choice cocktails for us.

While the Nuggets are just 5-4 on SNOs, the Stiffs Karma has proven strong in the past, notably lifting the Nuggets over the Lakers in Game 5 of their first round series last year and almost delivering a Nuggets victory against the Thunder in the playoffs in 2011.
